My Favorite Things I have been an avid collector of toys and other trivial trinkets for years, and in spite of my periodic effort to downsize my material possessions, my collection continues to grow. In the summer of 2009, as I went through boxes and boxes of objects that I’ve accumulated, I began to make “portraits” of the objects in an attempt to make some sort of sense out of my collecting habits. Each drawing is 6″ X 4.25″, gouache on paper. This is an ongoing project.
